Finding a home that matched the mission
Transition Global is a venture capital firm investing in early-stage climate and energy-transition technology companies. When they needed a London office that reflected both their ambitions and their values, they were referred to Spacepoint by a former client.
The Challenge
For a firm built around sustainable innovation, the office couldn't just be functional, it had to mean something. Transition Global wanted a space that would energise their team, impress the founders they back, and feel like a genuine expression of what the business stands for. They also wanted to take an unfitted space and shape it entirely on their own terms, which meant the search was only the beginning of the project.
Our Approach
The brief pointed us firmly towards Soho, a part of London where character, creativity and connectivity converge. We focused the search on spaces with the right bones: good natural light, strong ceiling heights, and the kind of address that carries weight without trying too hard. When the right opportunity emerged on Carnaby Street, it was immediately clear it was the one. From there, our role expanded beyond the search itself. We managed the lease negotiation against Soho’s largest Landlord and coordinated the full bespoke fit-out from start to finish.
The Solution
Transition Global took an unfitted floor on iconic Carnaby Street in the heart of Soho. The subsequent fit-out delivered real wooden floors, glass-partitioned meeting rooms, and a large breakout area, creating a space that genuinely reflects the firm's identity rather than defaulting to a generic office aesthetic.
The Outcome
The finished office works on every level. A creative, collaborative environment that serves the team day-to-day and makes the right impression on the founders and investors who walk through the door. A headquarters that says something about who they are.
